ملخص الفيلم

يصل فيليكس، وهو لص وحيد لا جذور له يبلغ من العمر عشرين عاماً واحداً يدعى تشانجو. وفي السهول الحارة التي تقبع في صمت، تظهر مشكلة عنف أسري وتتفاقم وتؤثر بشكل سلبي على الأجواء، مما يؤدي إلى ذبول كل ما حولها. وبغض النظر عن هذا الوضع، يولد شغف مساوٍ في القوة، ويجد إحساس العجز الذي تشعر به شخصية هامشية مثل فيليكس متنفساً وهوساً وهدفاً رئيسياً لحياته. تجري أحداث هذا الفيلم الذي يستند الى قصة حقيقية من واقع الحياة، ويجعلنا نفكر في الأدوار المنوطة بالامهات و الآباء والمحبة التي تجمع أفراد العائلة، مؤكداً على روابط التضامن التي تبقى راسخة دون انكسار

Film Synopsis

FELIX, a lonely and rootless twenty-year-old, petty thief, arrives at a small village in Argentina where he starts to work on a small farm owned by a couple with a one-year-old son named Chango.

With the hot plains as its background and almost in silence, a stressful and unspoken situation of family violence slowly takes over, grows, and reaches momentum, drying everything out.

Regardless of this, a passion of equal strength is born. The helplessness of a marginal character such as FELIX finds an outlet, an obsession, and a main goal for his life.

This film, which is based on a real story, makes us reflect on maternal and paternal roles and family love, highlighting solidarity links, which remain unbroken.

Director Biography

Born in Buenos Aires and a graduate of ENERC (Experimental Center of the National Film Institute), Maria Victoria Menis also received training in social psychology. Screenwriter and film director. She made several short films, such as Vecinas (1984), and A que hora (1985), both of which received the Georges Mélies prize.
Her first feature film, Los Espiritus patrioticos (1989), is a political satire that portrays a group of journalists willing to do anything to prevent a coup d'état. It is a sarcastically humorous film that vividly portrays the tragic politics of a certain era in Argentina. This film received the Silver Condor Award for First Work and was distinguished at the Santa Fé and Bariloche festivals.
In 2001, she wrote and directed Arregui, la noticia del dia. The film anticipates the political crisis that will hit the country a few months later, in December 2001. Once again Maria Victoria Menis takes a very critical look at the social policy of her country. She recounts the poignant life of a humble courthouse employee condemned to witness the incredible corruption of the judicial system for more than 30 years. The film was selected at numerous festivals.
In 2005, El Cielito was released, which received the Arte Prize and the CICAE Prize at the San Sebastian International Festival, as well as the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize at the Havana Festival. For television, Maria Victoria Menis collaborates as scriptwriter and director in Cosecharas tu siembra and Mas allà del horizonte, two series that receive the highest distinction of Argentine television: the Martin Fierro Prize. In the theater, she received the First National Drama Prize for her play Lagrimas en el Sahara, which she inaugurated at the Cervantes National Theater in Buenos Aires.
The filmmaker is also a professor of screenwriting at the University of Buenos Aires, ENERC, and the Avellaneda Film School.
